MiddleDrag for MAC
Free, open-source Mac app that adds middle-click and middle-drag to your trackpad with three-finger gestures, alongside system gestures.
MiddleDrag Overview
Mac trackpads have no middle mouse button, but many apps expect one. MiddleDrag adds it with three-finger gestures: a three-finger tap is a middle-click, and a three-finger drag is a middle-drag. Use it to open links in new background tabs and close tabs in your browser, pan the canvas in Figma or Photoshop, close editor tabs in code editors, and orbit and pan the view in 3D apps such as Blender, FreeCAD and SketchUp. Mission Control and other macOS gestures keep working.
MiddleDrag runs in the menu bar as a hand icon, with a simple settings menu: turn it on or off, set the drag sensitivity, ignore touches with four or more fingers, and launch at login. It needs Accessibility permission and a built-in trackpad or Magic Trackpad. MiddleDrag is made by Karan Mohindroo and is free and open source under the MIT license. Version 1.4.3 needs macOS 15 Sequoia or later.

MosMos makes scrolling with a mouse wheel on your Mac feel as smooth as a trackpad, while keeping the precision of a mouse. On macOS a mouse wheel often scrolls in abrupt jumps; Mos intercepts the wheel events and turns them into smooth, continuous movement. It also lets you set the scroll direction for the mouse separately from the trackpad, so you can keep natural scrolling on one and not the other. Mos is a small menu bar app made by Caldis and loved by more than 21,000 people who starred it on GitHub.Customization

TinkerToolTinkerTool is a free utility that gives you access to additional preference settings Apple has built into macOS but does not show in System Settings.
